Kids Craft: Fruit of the Spirit

Fruit of the Spirit

A great activity to do with your kids this week is to make a craft about the fruit of the spirit! Start off reading through Galatians 5:22-23.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
Explain to your kids that because we have the Holy Spirit we are able to have special qualities that are only possible when we rely on the power of Christ.  Then ask them what their favorite fruits are.  Have them cut the fruits out of paper.  Next have them write one of the fruits of the Spirit on each one of the fruit images.  Once everything is finished, put your craft somewhere visible in the house.  This way your children can look at them and be reminded of these qualities throughout the day. Another perk is it  might even encourage them to eat more fruit.:)
