A Jerusalem Model That Will Help Your Kids Visualize The Easter Story

When my husband and I were in Florida a few years back, we visited a place called The Holy Land Experience. We totally enjoyed the whole experience but there was one highlight. The model of Jerusalem. It is the largest indoor replica in the world.

What a wonderful tool for families to use to retrace the steps of Jesus. Where he walked, ministered, healed and performed other miracles. Follow his steps from the Last Supper to the Empty tomb.

With life-like figurines you can visualize being there as a knowlegable guide that told us the history behind the city.

The model took almost two years in the making. We loved the attention to detail.

Your children will be amazed and it will encourage lots of questions and answers.

If you can’t visit Florida we suggest getting the laminated poster of the city. It has write ups of the specific places that Jesus ministered to as He traveled to Calvary.  It is 33-1/4 inches by 24 inches and provides easy to see details.

Whether you visit the model or you buy the laminated poster your family will surely love this great tool that brings the life of Jesus alive. Especially with Easter coming, why not check it out!

If you like what you read, check out our children’s book, Hooked on the Book, on this website.  It is great for parents because it provides the Big Story of God’s wonderful plan for His children in all 66 books in the Bible including colorful illustrations, rhymes and a surprise on every page.
