Using The Alphabet To Teach The Bible: A

Angel Craft

I am now going to begin a series on using the alphabet to teach the Bible. Each blog will use a different letter iwith activities, crafts, and verses to teach with your kids.

So to begin our journey we have the letter A for angels.

“For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you
in all your ways” Psalm 91:11 (NIV)

Guardian angels can be a very comforting topic for little children. Talk with your kiddos about how God loves each and everyone of us so much that he never wants us to feel alone. And as a reminder of this here is a craft idea for to do with your kids to hang over their bed.

This idea comes from the website littleblots:

You will need:

-Popsicle stick

-White paper

-Glue

-Markers

First you will need to fold the paper in half and then trace the outline of your child’s hand. Cut the hand out and glue it to the back of the popsicle stick. You can write a summarized version of the verse on the stick if your want then let your kids go crazy with markers and any other things you might have on hand to decorate the angel.

Stay tuned for the next blog of using the alphabet to teach the Bible.
