Bible Snack Idea

Bible craft

Want to make a fun snack for your kids at sunday school? Catholic Icing has provided an awesome idea, a little Bible fig newton.   This could be a fun snack for any church event, sunday school class, vacation bible school, bible study or as a fun idea at home.  Check out the website for step by step pictures:

Materials you will need:

A box of fig newtons

White Icing

Red Roll ups

For the fig newtons you will need to trim the newtons on three of the four sides so that it looks like a book.  Then ice it as the picture shows.  Finally cut the red roll ups so that it appears as a book mark.

It is a little time consuming but it is such a fun and cute idea that if you are willing to spend some time, it will be worth it! If your kids are old enough it could be a great craft to do together for some fun bonding time.

If you like what you read, check out our children’s book, Hooked on the Book, on this website.  It is great for parents and kids because it provides the Big Story of God’s miraculous plan for His children in all 66 books in the Bible including colorful illustrations, rhymes and a surprise on every page.
