Book of Joshua Made Easy

Looking for an easy way to teach the big idea of the Bible book called Joshua? Check out this fun poem found in a new childrens book called Hooked On The Book.

The history is that God has given His people some land that needs to be taken over to make their land. God says they needs to trust Him as He will take over this city in this land for His people. A man named Joshua is the leader of God’s special people.  Listen as Joshua talks to the people behind the walls of the city they are just about to take over. Joshua knows that God is powerful and that He will do something big when takes over this city.

HEY YOU GUYS,

GAPING OVER YOUR WALL,

IF I WERE YOU

I’D SNATCH MY SHAWL.

I’D PACK MY BAG

WITH ALL MY JUNK.

I’D SEIZE MY PILLOW

 OFF MY BUNK.

I’D CLUTCH MY WIFE,

I’D HUG MY KID.

I’D GRAB MY GOLD

FROM WHERE IT’S HID.

I’D QUICKLY SPLIT,

GET OUT OF HERE.

I’D SCOOT SO FAST,

JUST DISAPPEAR.

NOW DON’T DELAY.

AND DON’T YOU WAIT.

CRASH!

BOOM!

BANG!

TOO LATE!

JOSHUA 6:20
