Over the past week I spent some time in Montana and helped create a cardboard version of a Greek island village for and anniversary dinner. It was so much fun and it got me to thinking that this could be a great way to help kids have a more visual idea of what it is like to be travel in some of the same places that their favorite Bible stories took place.
It is a really easy craft to do and will help fill all of the long hours in the summer months. Talk to your kids about their favorite Bible stories and then make a trip to your local hardware store and pick up some cardboard boxes. You can even gather around the computer and do some research. Check out how the buildings would have looked so they can create the city and reenact the whole story.
This is the perfect way to help your kids Bible stories come to life!
