Celebrating God Stories

GOD STORIES

Living off of other peoples God stories is an important way to celebrate God daily. I was talking to a friend of mine who had God answer her in a big way two days ago. She was seeking God for her future as a violin teacher.  Miraculously she ended up with a job down the street from her house teaching not only violin but her other two loves French and English. She called amazed at how God had work. She just showed up and the women said she had been praying for a French and English teacher and she was welcome to use the facility as a location to teach violin. It was an obvious God intervention.

How many of us want to see God work in our lives like that? My friend told me she hadn’t seen a big answer to prayer like that for a while but she had lived off of other peoples miracle God stories till hers showed up. What a great insight. This is why we are called to live in community and to share our praise and prayer requests. God is working everywhere and he wants us to join in the celebration. I am praising Him for how he works and keeps us humble to celebrate others stories as well as our own.

One goal in our family is to celebrate these stories continually with our kids. As they hear them they too will learn that God is in the business of blessing.  AMEN!
