The Blue Letter Bible

The Blue Letter Bible is for you if you have ever had a verse running through your head and you have tried to find out where it comes from in the bible but you just can’t find it? Or you can’t understand the big idea of Joel and you need more information to get the meaning. Well we have found a great free solution on line.

It is called the Blue Letter Bible. I have mine saved and bookmarked as I use it so often. I love the commentary section as well the chance to just look up an verse with just a couple of words in the verse.

There are devotionals as well study tools, maps and lots of links. Be sure and check out  audio and video links by famous authors like Elizabeth Elliot and Walter Martin.

Recently they had on their blog page a great post about the two Adams. What we get in 1st Adam vs. being in Christ, the 2nd Adam. It was a great list that would make anyone celebrate being a Christian. It it titled The Two Adams: Contrasted.Blue Letter Bible: The Blog

AGAIN… Did I mention it is FREE!

Thank you all the folks at Blue Letter Bible for providing a resource to encourage me in my walk with God.

If you like what you read, check out our children’s book, Hooked on the Book, on this website.  It is great for parents because it provides the Big Story of God’s wonderful plan for His children in all 66 books in the Bible including colorful illustrations, rhymes and a surprise on every page.
