Cooking With Kids To Help Them Grow In Their Bible Knowledge

Here’s a practical idea for teaching our kids more about the Bible times. Why not cook with them foods that they ate in the Bible times. We think making goat cheese would be a lot of fun.

Proverbs 27:27
You will have plenty of goats’ milk to feed you and your family and to nourish your servant girls.

Check out the great web sight for making cheese, Cheesemaking.com. They have kits for making goats cheese. Each kit includes…
4-Goat Cheese Molds (M172), 1/2oz. Liquid Animal Rennet (R7), Chevre DS Culture 5-pk (C20G), Fresh Culture (C3), 1yd Re-usable Butter Muslin (U2N), Recipe Booklet.

And if you don’t have access to goat’s milk just use cow’s milk with another one of their kits. They have a starter kit that promised that in just 30 minutes you can have fresh Mozzarella cheese.

Getting your kids excited about the Bible can involve cooking and most kids love to cook. Especially if they get to have a sample in the process.  Now you can help your kids enjoy the foods that sustained the Biblical cultures. Check out Cheesemaking.com and make a memory with your kids.

If you like what you read, check out our children’s book, Hooked on the Book, on this website.  It is great for parents because it provides the Big Story of God’s wonderful plan for His children in all 66 books in the Bible including colorful illustrations, rhymes and a surprise on every page.
