Could Somebody Pass the Salt?- A Missionary Story

A great bed time story to read to your kids tonight is Could Somebody Pass the Salt by Catherine Mackenzie.   This book is the story of Hudson Taylor and how a missing bowl of soup was the beginning of his desire to serve the Lord through doing missions in China.  It a great story with a good point because it shows how a child with a vision to serve God can grow up to reach the nations!

Reading to your child is a special time to bond together.  It provides entertainment and bonding for conversations.  We encourage parents to spend time together each night even if it is only for 15 minutes before bed. This time could provide some wonderful memories.  This book could be a great start to building some of these memories.
