David and Goliath Lego Video By A Boys Club Class

How fun is this! A teacher who wanted to get his kids excited about the Bible has them create a lego stop motion video retelling the story of David and Goliath. What a great idea!!

The boys are from Power Surge Kids Ministries at First Assembly of God in Warner Robins, GA.  They must have had a lot of fun as a group building these sets. They also must have learned a lot of patience as animation is a slow process.

I love how the narrator is one of the boys, who laughs a bit as he tells the story. You could tell this was a boys work of art as the video ends with Goliath’s head chopped off.  The final scene is lots of blood ( ketchup). :)

What a great idea for teaching kids that you can be creative in learning God’s word. Jason McCoy is the teacher that orchestrated  this project. Our hat goes off to him for the time he spent helping the kids do this project. He obviously loves kids.

Hope you all check out all of his blogs as there other videos made by Jason. We like his playful spirit and sense of humor.

If you like what you read, check out our children’s book, Hooked on the Book, on this website.  It provides the Big Story behind all 66 books in the Bible including colorful illustrations, rhymes and a surprise on every page.
