Draw Out Your Memory Verse

Memory Verse

The next time you are trying to teach kids a memory verse, using art to help them remember it! Begin the class by reading the verse to the kids.  Break it down into little chunks.  Read each chunk and have each child draw out what they think of when they hear those words.  Do this for every section.  When you have finished reading through the verse, each child should have a personalized version of the verse, full of pictures!

So as the example is above read through Deuteronomy 6:5.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength”.

Then break down the verse and draw your own pictures so that the verse is meaningful and easy to remember for you.

Ministry-To-Children.com came up with this incredible idea! Thank you so much for such a creative and fun personalized to remember God’s scriptures!
