Finding God Stories Everywhere You Go

God Stories

Last weekend we were taking a trip down to Mexico and on the way we struck up a conversation with a biker named Phil. Phil was an ex-cop and as we got to talking we found out he was a Christian. So of course I had to ask,” How did you become a Christian?”

What a cool story. He was telling us how he had kidney cancer years ago and was told that he didn’t have long to live. While in the hospital his roommate reached out to him and prayed over him that he would come to know the power of Jesus. Just then the Holy Spirit entered him and changed his life.

He shared how their friendship began to grow and developed into a life long relationship. Not only that but after his hospital stay he  got another opinion from a doctor and found out he no longer had cancer in his body. That was years ago. He is now a pastor and blessing others with his life.

Another wonderful God story that sent goosebumps up my arms. They are everywhere if you just reach out to those folks that are around you. Thank you Phil DuBois for sharing your story with us. Looking forward to hearing even more details in heaven. :)
