Free 5 minute Kid’s Devotional, One Year Bible Study – November 28, Ephesians 3, “Why Worry?”

This free one year kid’s devotional study thru the Bible is designed to hit the highlights, provide practical application and requires no preparation. If you have a little more time, I encourage you to read the whole section of scripture (Ephesians 3) while we focus in on just a few verses in 5 minutes.

Background: Paul wrote to the church in Ephesus to remind them that now they are in Christ, they are no longer paupers but princess. He also instructed them what it looked like to live like princes.

Paul reminded the Ephesians that in the midst of their difficulties, there was more love and power available than they could imagine.

Ask the children…

How big is the love of God towards us?

“And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.” (Ephesians 3:18 )

How much power is available to us?

“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” (Ephesians 3:20)

So if God’s love towards us is infinite and His power working in us is more than we can imagine, then what do we have to worry about?

Ask your children what they worry about?  If they knew all of God’s love and power was available to them this every instant, would they still be worried?  Well here is a shocker, all those are available to us RIGHT NOW!  We need only ask for them just like Paul did on the behalf of the Ephesians.  Don’t wait, ask God NOW!
