Get Your Kids Excited About The Cities In The Bible

Now it couldn’t be easier to share with your kids images of Biblical cities.  Check out this great website called BiblePlaces.com.

One of my favorite cities is Jerusalem. I lived there for a year as a child when it was Jerusalem, Jordan.  The city is divided into three different sections, and you can take them through the three different sections with the great photos on the BiblePlaces.com.

Check out the Jewish ritual baths, The Dome of the Rock, and an ariel view of the city of Jerusalem. This is just a bit of the information they have for free on their website.

They send out free samples to pastors and you can purchase high quality images if you want more selection. For a nominal fee you can purchase 600 images of a different city.

Why not have your family gather together on a family night with a collection of these images. Serve a traditional snack of baklava, pitta and hummus. Have everyone use sheets and towels to represent a keffiyeh and cover their heads. Then dim the lights and travel to the Middle East city of Jerusalem for the night.

Hope you check out BiblePlaces.com and have an evening of adventure with your family.

If you like what you read, check out our children’s book, Hooked on the Book, on this website.  It provides the Big Story behind all 66 books in the Bible including colorful illustrations, rhymes and a surprise on every page.
