God Loves Your Kids – He Brought Them Into His Family

God loves you

Every child needs to know that they have a Father in heaven who loves them and has made them part of His Family.

John wrote…

“See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are!” (1 John 3:1)

One of the greatest desires God has put into the heart of all of us is to be a part of a family.

This past weekend we visited the Door of Faith orphanage in La Mision, Mexico.  http://www.dofo.org/ DJ the director of the orphanage told us that there are three priorities at the Door of Faith, (1) Family, (2) Education, (3) Outreach.  They have 119 children at the orphanage and they have set up beautiful dormitories where there are dorm parents.  They are all about developing a family environment for the kids because God has put the need for family in every heart.

Our kids need to know that God has put them purposely in our nuclear families and that He has also placed them into His larger spiritual family (if they know Jesus).  He is the Father and we are all His children.  This is a special family where we can experience His love in a supernatural way wherever, whenever and regardless of the circumstances we are in.

Rejoice with your children over your genetic family and over God’s spiritual family.
