God Loves Your Kids – He Determined Their Family And The Date Of Their Birth

Every child needs to know that they have a Father in heaven who loves them and that God selected them to be born into their family and when they would be born.

Luke wrote in the book of Acts …

” and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation,”  (Acts 17:26)

Every one of us was born at the right time and the right place.  It is no accident that we have the parents we have or that we live in this exact time.  That is not to say that we have perfect parents or that our lives are going to easy or even pleasant, but God saw all that ahead of time and this is His plan in order to give us an abundant life.

Luke reminds us that from the first man until now, God appointed the lineage and location of our births.  Can you imagine that God knew exactly when and where each person would be born; Caesar, Aristotle, St. Francis of Assisi, Mother Teresa of Avila, and on and on? God has His hand on history and guides it despite even those who would do evil.

Ask your children how they feel about being born into this family at this time?  Ask them what particular reasons they can see that they are in this family, go to their school, have the friends they do and the talents they do?  Share with them what particular blessings you see them adding to the family.
