God Loves Your Kids – He Loves Them Just Like He Loves Jesus

God’s Love Never Fails

Every child needs to know that God loves them and that He loves them just like He loves His Son Jesus.

Jesus prayed to His Father …

“‘I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.’” (John 17:23)

Isn’t that amazing.  God loves each one of us just as much as He loved His only Son Jesus.  Why?  Because Jesus is living inside us if we believe in Him.  When God looks at us He sees His Son.  When God looks at us He sees His wonderful creation.  He isn’t looking at our faults and failures, He is looking at our hearts and all the potenital He has placed there.

Ask your children how much they think the Father loved Jesus?  How do they know that?  Look at the verse together.  What does it say about the relationship of the Father and the Son?  What is perfect unity?  Now ask your children how much the Father loves them?  Ask them if it depends on how they perform?  Remind them that the Father’s love is unconditional.  Spend some time thanking God for His love.
