God Loves Your Kids – The Heavens Rejoices When They Turn To Him

forgiveness

Every child needs to know that God loves them.  He loves them so much that when they turn from their sin to God a huge party is thrown in heaven.

Jesus said,

In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away!”  (Luke 15:7)

God is constantly scanning the world for those who are willing to turn from their worldly life to come to Him and experience the heavenly life.  He knows that this is what they were created for, to embrace Him as their heavenly Father.

No wonder all of heaven rejoices when someone turns to God.  It is as if all of heaven is standing on it’s tiptoes in anticipation of another wayward child finding their way to the mercy, forgiveness and grace of the Father.

Ask your children if they can remember their favorite birthday party?  Think with them about what made enjoy it so much.  Ask them to describe how they felt?  Now ask them to think about how heaven rejoices and throws a party when someone turns to God.  Heaven did this for them when they turned to Chirst.  If they haven’t done this, it would be a great time to ask them if they want to.  If they do, throw a party like the one going on in heaven.
