Hands On Teaching of the Resurrection of Christ

A grace Garden for Easter

I was browsing through Pinterest and saw this great Easter garden idea you can build with your kids. It is a wonderful way to get them excited about the resurrection of Christ.

Check out the website call,” A Holy Experience.” Author, and homeschooling mom Ann Voskamp has created a garden project with her kids called, A Grace Garden.

Included on her site are step by step pictures of how you build this garden. There are also detailed instructions of not only how to build it but the thoughts to ponder on each day before Easter.  Everything is thought through to make this easy for families to build together.

I love how it is a project that you do throughout the whole week before Easter.  On Palm Sunday you plant some seeds and line a small stone path with small candles. One for each night of Holy Week. On  Good Friday you make a caterpillar out of modeling wax and put it over the entrance of the tomb that you have built.

Then Easter morning you…. !!!! I don’t want to ruin the surprise. Just check it out at, “ A Holy Experience.”

Thanks you Ann Voskamp for sharing the fun idea that will encourage families to experience the resurrection of Christ in a new way.
