Jesus’ 10 New Testament Principles for Parenting: Principle No. 10 – Parenting Is A Team Sport (Part 2)

Jesus parented His children (disciples) as a team with the help of the other 12 disciples.

It was no accident that Jesus chose 12 disciples to be His special children.  Jesus had a special plan that it would take all 12 disciples to strengthen each other in order to spread the Kingdom of God to the whole known world.

There’s was a special community, a band of brothers committed to each other and committed to the cause of Christ.

Our parenting today is intended to be supported by other adults;  grandparents, family, friends and others.  God has selected others to be a part of your community to be a blessing, a sounding board and support.

Who are your community members?  Who would you go to in a pinch when you are struggling as a parent?  We will all hit the parenting wall.  Let’s figure out now who we are going to seek out when we get into a tight spot?
