Jesus Car Games

Do you have some long car trips ahead of you this summer?  Why not use that time to teach your kids about stories of the Bible through car games.  “Christian Games for Bus Rides”, by Charlotte Johnson, provides some wonderful exciting ideas for doing just this.

Car Games

The first game I loved is called BookChain, where the first child begins by saying Genesis, the second child continues with saying Exodus, and so on.   This is a great way to review the order of the books in the Bible!

The second game I enjoyed is called 20 Question Characters.  This is exactly like the regular 20 Question game except you

have to guess which Bible character the person is thinking of.  What fun!

There are several other interesting games in her article.  Check it out for yourself!

If you like what you read, check out our children’s book, Hooked on the Book, on this website.  It is great for parents and kids because it provides the Big Story of God’s miraculous plan for His children in all 66 books in the Bible including colorful illustrations, rhymes and a surprise on every page.
