Matthew 3:13-17 is the retelling of Jesus’ baptism.
“As soon as Jesus was baptized, He went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on Him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased”(vv.16-17).
Catholic Inspired has provided a fun way of making this into a craft. Here is what you will need.
1. Sea Shells
3. Picture of Jesus’ baptism
Now I really like the idea of Catholic Inspired but here are some ideas of to change it up a bit.
First, if you are doing this as a family event go to the beach with your kids and have them pick out the shells.
Second, instead of the Jesus photo have your kids do a drawing of what they think Jesus being baptized looked like.
These are just a few simple way to personalize the craft to make it extra special. Enjoy!
