Jesus Walks On Water Experience

Matthew 14:22-33 is the story of Jesus walking on water.

I Can Teach My Child has provided the most wonderful way of teaching young children about this meaningful story! It would be the perfect family event for a hot summers day.  Get all the kids together and begin this project.  It is pretty involved, but I think it could be worth it.

Walk on water

Check out the website for the details of how to make it.   I Can Teach My Child has provided step by step instruction that are great.

All you need is a couple materials:

1. Plastic Sheeting

2. Duck Tape

3. A Hose

4. Water

This is a great idea, but it only works for young light children.  It is probably best for children under the age of 6.

The best part of craft is it is super interactive and what better way to learn! When a child walks across lightly and alone they will be able to walk, but if they start jumping around or many children walk on it, it will break.

If you like what you read, check out our children’s book, Hooked on the Book, on this website.  It is great for parents and kids because it provides the Big Story of God’s miraculous plan for His children in all 66 books in the Bible including colorful illustrations, rhymes and a surprise on every page.
