Kids 4th of July Bible Verse

4th of July Under God

Looking for a way to encourage your kids to remember God in this years 4th of July celebration? Why not talk about the meaning behind Ephesians 3:12.

In him (Christ) and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. ( NIV)

As we focus this July 4th on the brave men and women who have given their lives through the years to create and protect this great nation called America. We can have a discussion about how Christ came to earth that we might be able to have a relationship with God. How he had to die so that we can enjoy the freedom that we have knowing God.

Like we celebrate our freedom in America on July 4th, in this Bible verse God encourages us to celebrate our freedom in being a child of God. We can be confident in this freedom that God loves us and wants to bless our lives. Encourage our kids to light their sparklers this year in celebration of the freedom we have to know God as well as the freedom we have in America.

Than why not take some time as a family to praise God for both of these freedoms. We truly are blessed.
