Kids Activity: Operation Child

Operation Child

A great activity to do with your kids as Christmas is approaching is making a shoebox present for Operation Child.  This is a fantastic ministry which collects presents to be sent around the world for children who are in poverty.  What they need is presents for children that fit into shoeboxes.

It is a very simple process and here are the steps!

1. Get a normal sized shoebox

2. Decided whether you are making a present for a boy or girl, and what age group.

3. Fill the box with gifts!

4. Include a $7 donation for shipping

5. Drop it off at a location.

Check out the website for further details.  The site is full of great information including gift ideas, the necessary paper slips for the box, as well as locations where you can drop it off.
