Kids Activity: Practice Random Kindness

Practice kindness

Julie’s Journal has come up with a great fun activity to do as a family this week which teaches your family about practicing random kindness!  Jesus was all about blessing others around Him.  Throughout His ministry on earth He healed the sick and fed the hungry.

So here is the activity.  Have each family member write their name on a piece of paper and then put it in a hat.  Then have each person draw a name from the hat.  The name they pick will the person that they are going to bless that week.  Blessing can be anything from making the person breakfast in bed, doing a chore for them,  writing them a sweet note, etc.

This is the perfect activity to do leading up to Thanksgiving because it allows your family to practice appreciation in response to the many blessing we have received!

Check out Julie’s Journal for the details and insight she provides!
