Kids Craft: Hide God’s Word In Your Heart

Hide God’s Word In Your Heart

“I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.” Psalm 119:11

Psalm 119:11 encourages Christians to study and memorize scripture but the verse could be confusing for kids to understand how anything could possibly be hidden in your heart.  has provided a fantastic craft to help kids understand.

And all you need are a few materials.

White paper for the background

Pink paper to be cut into a heart

A treasure chest cut-out

For the treasure chest cut-out check out the link below provided by

To make the heart, fold the pink paper in half.   When you cut out the heart leave one side un-cut so that the hearts will still be attached.

Thank you for this great idea! I made a printable, cut out hearts, and copied bibles. It will be perfect for my preschool Sunday School class.
