Kids Craft: Jesus Snow Globe Ornament

Jesus Snow Globe

A fun craft to make for your kids could be this Jesus snow globe ornament. As you can see from the photo it is a great ornament to remind your kids of the manger scene. This idea was found on Pinterest.

All you need is a couple of materials.  These include:

A clear plastic cup

A piece of cardboard cut into a circle to put on the bottom of the cup.

Pieces of cut up paper bags for the hay

Yarn to make the babies’ body

A round wooden ball for the babies head

Tissue paper for the cradle

Yarn to hang the ornament on the tree

Copy the photo above to make this craft and enjoy some family time this week.

    There is more to this than this list given above. We did this. You’ll also need:
    1. Dark Blue card stock cut out to fit in the cup, we had the kids add stars
    2. popsicle stick cut to about 1 inch to glue the ball on with glue gun for wrapping the yarn around
    3. Manger: we made small folded boxes using brown construction paper. Small matchboxes work well too. The “Greatest Gift of All” glues nicely on bottom of manger.
    4. We also added the plastic lid (cups and lids at GFS). Cut the round floor piece to fit inside the cup lid that that it fits on the cup. Gold pipe cleaner fits nicely around the lip of the lid
