Kids Craft: Jonathan And David

Bow And Arrow

David and Saul’s son, Jonathan, were great friends, but when Saul started trying to kill David, Jonathan and David made a pack with each other. 1 Samuel 20 tells the story of how the two men set up a plan using arrows to warn David if Saul was really going to kill David.

This story would make a great Bible story to share with boys. Boys love action so this would really get their attention and keep it!

The Brooding Hen has come up with this bow and arrow craft which goes perfectly with the story.  It is extra fun because it is super small and shoots Q-tips, which is safe.

The only trick with this craft is that it requires a notch to be made on the popsicle stick using a knife.  To make this craft safe cut out the notch before bringing the kids in for craft time.
