Kids Craft: Noah’s Ark-Dove Craft

In the story of Noah’s Ark when Noah is trying to discover whether there is any land to dock his boat, he sends out birds. The dove brings back an olive branch which tells Noah that God has prepared a land so that Noah and the animals will be safe.

“When the dove returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf! Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth.” Genesis 8:11

Kiboomu Kids Crafts has provided this easy and hands-on craft to allow children to visualize what it would have been like to see the dove carrying back the branch.

Dove and the olive branch

The best part about this craft is that you only need paint, paper, and one hand.  No paint brushes necessary!  Quick warning- this craft could get messy.

For the whole story read Genesis 5:32-10.  Thanks again Kiboomu Kids Crafts!
