Kids Craft: Thanksgiving Thankful Tree

Thanksgiving Thankful Tree

One fun activity to do as a family this Thanksgiving is to make a Thanksgiving thankful trees! It could be a great craft to have set up on a side table at your house so that as your family comes they can write on a little leaf a couple things they are thankful for.  Then once everyone has finished, glue them all down to the base of a tree and then you will have an art project to remember!

All you need is a couple materials:

1. Piece of paper/canvas

2. Leafs cut out

3. Glue

4. Sharpie Pen

What I like about this craft is that it looks really great when it is all done and it is really meaningful artwork! Also it allows your kids to be involved and helping out with the Thanksgiving holiday and really that is what the holiday is all about! Best of all, it gives the glory back God saying thank you God for the many blessings our family has received!

If you like what you read, check out our children’s book, Hooked on the Book, on this website.  It is great for parents and kids because it provides the Big Story of God’s miraculous plan for His children in all 66 books in the Bible including colorful illustrations, rhymes and a surprise on every page.
