Kids Devotion: John 17:4

Finish strong!

It is finally December and the end of the year is insight!  Your kids are probably starting to burn out on school and activities.  It is just that season when we are tired and are looking forward to a nice Christmas break.  John 17:4 is a great verse to share with your kids as a “pick me up” to help  them get through the end of school.

“I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do.” John 17:4

This verse is perfect for this season because it reminds us that God has given us tasks to do.  This season of life for your kids is finishing their school semester up well.   But the most important part of the verse is that as we finish up tasks God has called us to, He is being brought glory and worship because we are being obedient!

So remind your kids no matter how tired or unimportant a task seems, God is brought joy when we finish well to honor Him!
