Kid’s Devotionals on Faith Walking – Noah Builds A Boat

It takes faith to follow God. Today let’s focus on some faith walking in the Bible.  Noah trusted God even when God asked Noah to do a crazy thing.  (Hebrews 11:7)

Ask the children…

What did God ask Noah to do by faith?

“It was by faith that Noah built a large boat to save his family from the flood.”  (Hebrews 11:7a)

Why was this a great act of faith?

“He obeyed God, who warned him about things that had never happened before.”  (Acts 11:7b)

It had never rained before let alone having a great flood that would cover the whole earth.  So Noah had to build a boat on dry ground with all of his friends laughing at him.  It was only his faith that gave him the courage to do this.

Ask your children if they ever get laughed at for their faith?  Ask them what it would take for them to stand up even when they are getting laughed at?

Pray with them for strength to walk by faith and not by sight.
