Kids Illustrate The Bible

Just found a website called Kids Talk About God that has wonderful way to minister to kids in your life. They are encouraging kids to learn from other kids. What a great idea.

Carrey Kinsolving has spent years asking children what they think about God. He has videoed these kids, and he has collected tons of their illustrations. The illustrations are specific to certain Bible verses. Check out the Kids Talk About God Online Art Gallery.  There are both Old and New Testament images. They would be great to print out to use in kids rooms, on bookmarks, anywhere you want to help your kids to be inspired.

We also love the free coloring pages that are made from all ages of  kids art work. This artwork provides great inspiration for kids or families to create their own illustrated bible. One father of autistic twin boys praises the creator of these coloring pages as his boys can color their page while he reads the Bible to them. Each chapter is well laid out for a Bible study lesson.

We want to thank you Carrey Kinsolving and your staff at Kids Talk About God for creating this wonderful resource to help kids get excited about the Bible.

If you like what you read, check out our children’s book, Hooked on the Book, on this website.  It provides the Big Story behind all 66 books in the Bible including colorful illustrations, rhymes and a surprise on every page.
