Kids Make Plate Art Illustrating Bible Verses

MAKE A PLATE

Looking for a fun way to help children enjoy memorizing scripture this summer? Why not have them illustrate a Bible verse on a plate or mug. With kits from a company called MakIt  it is easy for kids to design full color Bible art keepsakes. Here is what they have to say about their product.

“Since 1969 the Make A Plate Kit has been our signature product. We have continued to add new products and ideas that inspire creativity. Our Photo Plate kit is a great way to preserve that special photograph, or create a collage of pictures. It adds to the fun of creating a one-of-a-kind keepsake. With our unique system, we create a 10” melamine plate, made from the original artwork. Every Makit plate is non-toxic, dishwasher safe, and made for everyday use.”

We love how they are dishwasher safe and use kids artwork or photographs. If one child doesn’t like to draw they could make a collage of Bible characters and images to illustrate their verse.

What a great way to review those Bible verses daily. Also with MakIt artwork you could have a whole new set of dishes by the end of the summer.

If you like what you read, check out our children’s book, Hooked on the Book, on this website.  It is great for parents and kids because it provides the Big Story of God’s miraculous plan for His children in all 66 books in the Bible including colorful illustrations, rhymes and a surprise on every page.
