Labor Day Craft

Looking for a craft to do at your Labor Day party? Why not do one that also honors God.

Colossians 3:17 says, ” And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

Here is a fun craft idea which represents well the point of that verse.

Before your kids begin making the craft explain to them how ants are a great symbol because they are always busy working to find food.  They spend all day searching and then they have to carry it all the way home, which is no easy task for little ant.

After that explain how important it is to do all the hard work of school, chores, or whatever it is always to praise God! God loves us so much and wants to be a part of every aspect of our lives, even work!

If you like what you read, check out our children’s book, Hooked on the Book, on this website.  It is great for parents and kids because it provides the Big Story of God’s miraculous plan for His children in all 66 books in the Bible including colorful illustrations, rhymes and a surprise on every page.
