Listening Ears For Jesus

Listening Ears

Luke 10:38-42 tells the story of Mary and Martha and how each woman interacted with Jesus.  Martha ran all over the house trying to prepare a meal for Jesus.  Mary sat at Jesus’ feet and just spent time listening to what He was saying.  Martha became upset with Mary for not helping her, but Jesus said to her,

“ ‘Martha, Martha,’ the Lord answered, ‘you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one.Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.’ ” Luke 10:41-42

Mama Jenn provides a great craft for this story is to make listening ears.   These ears serve as a reminder that listening to Jesus is the most important thing we can do!

Here is what you will need:

Paper plates

Colors

Ear cut outs

String

Glue

Put it all together like the picture and you will have your very own listening ears.

Thanks again Mama Jenn!
