Love Language: Acts Of Service

Acts of service is one of the five love languages a person can give or receive.  Your child may be exhibiting acts of service as their love language if they serve you unexpectedly. For example, if your child has surprise you by cleaning the house, doing the dishes, or some other chore they were not asked to do.  If you receive acts of service as love then when a person does something to make your life easier you are overcome with gratitude.

If you would like to find out more details about this and the other four love languages check out Gary Chapman’s book, The 5 Love Languages.
