Noah’s Ark Craft

Want a new idea of how to teach your kids about Noah’s Ark?  Check out this awesome idea.

Noah’s Ark

Start with getting together supplies.

  • Watermelon
  • Plastic animals
  • Drink Umbrellas

Cut off the top.  Hollow out the watermelon.  Cut small window squares.  Place the characters in the squares.

This is a fun creative craft which I think that children would really enjoy.

After making the boat watermelon, read the your kids the story of Noah’s Ark.  This can be found in Genesis 6-10.  Depending on your kids age read all these chapters at once.  Another option is to read it out of a children’s Bible.

This could be a great opportunity to enjoy some quality family time, while being creative.  It also allows for your kids to learn more about the Bible, while still having fun.

If you like what you read, check out our children’s book, Hooked on the Book, on this website.  It is great for parents and kids because it provides the Big Story of God’s miraculous plan for His children in all 66 books in the Bible including colorful illustrations, rhymes and a surprise on every page.
