Prayer Request Wall

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:24

According to this verse, God wants His people to pray for the desires of their hearts.   To teach children the importance of prayer at a young age is so key because it will make prayer a habit, which will be maintained throughout life.

One way to teach them to pray is to create a prayer wall in your house.  This is one example of how to do it.

Prayer Wall

Make your wall fun and colorful, something that catches your eye and reminds you to pray.

Cut out a bunch of stars and have your children write down prayers or thank yous to Jesus.  Have some items sitting near so they can keep adding to the prayers.

You could choose one night a week to sit down and pray together.  If you have too many stars, you could each choose one and pray for it at that time.
