Story Time Tonight With The Bible

Night Time Reading

One of my favorite memories from my childhood was story time every night.  My Dad would come into our room and my siblings and I would get into our beds and listen to him read to us.  A great idea tonight would be to gather up the kids and have them get settled in for the night.  Then pick out one of their favorite Bible stories and read it to them.

Some really great ones include:

The story of Esther

The story of Ruth

Noah and the Ark

Jonah and the Whale

These all are really enjoyable stories and they are the more traditional stories that most kids would think of with happy endings.  Check out Hooked On the Book if you want some fun Bible reading material!

Another option is to find a great book that your whole family can enjoy.  It is always so special to have a certain book because then your kids will look forward to it each night to find out what happens next in the plot.

If you like what you read, check out our children’s book, Hooked on the Book, on this website.  It provides the Big Story behind all 66 books in the Bible including colorful illustrations, rhymes and a surprise on every page.
