Teaching children about the Bible miracles is important because it helps them to see how nothing is impossible for God. If God can do miracles in the Bible, He can do them in our children’s lives today. Here is an easy way to do that interactively.
Today let’s focus on a Bible miracle from the book of Ezra: God causes King Artaxerxes to provide for Ezra’s return to Jerusalem. (Ezra 7:1-28)
About 80 years after the first exiles returned to Jerusalem from their slavery in Babylon, God put it on Ezra’s heart to lead a second group back to encourage those who had gone before. One problem, he had to get King Artaxerxes permission.
Ask the children…
Why was the gracious hand of God upon Ezra?
“This was because Ezra had determined to study and obey the Law of the LORD and to teach those decrees and regulations to the people of Israel.” (Ezra 7:10)
Why did King Artaxerxes give Ezra what he asked for?
“and the king gave him everything he asked for, because the gracious hand of the LORD his God was on him.” (Ezra 7:6)
So King Artaxerxes allowed Ezra to lead a group from Babylon to Jerusalem and gave to him food, silver and gold and whatever he needed for trip and for the house of God.
How our God loves to bless those who seek His face.
Now you can see how Bible miracles are God’s way of blessing the world. Glory to Him!!!
