Teaching children about the Bible miracles is important because it helps them to see how nothing is impossible for God. If God can do miracles in the Bible, He can do them in our children’s lives today. Here is an easy way to do that interactively.
Today let’s focus on a Bible miracle from the book of Daniel: God reveals to Daniel another of the King’s dreams. (Daniel 4)
King Nebuchadnezzar ofBabylonhad another two dreams that upset him. None of the wise men could reveal the interpretation but the King knew that God gave Daniel the interpretation of dreams, so he called Daniel.
Daniel revealed that the King’s dream of the great tree represented how great was Nebuchadnezzar and his kingdom. Daniel also revealed that the tree being cut down and being covered with dew and having grass grow up around it foretold that the King, because of his pride, would be removed as King and would go around like an animal for 7 years. After that the King would be restored.
Ask the children…
What happened to the King?
“That same hour the judgment was fulfilled, and Nebuchadnezzar was driven from human society. He ate grass like a cow, and he was drenched with the dew of heaven. He lived this way until his hair was as long as eagles’ feathers and his nails were like birds’ claws.” (Daniel 4:33)
And did God fulfill His promise to restore the King to his throne?
“”When my sanity returned to me, so did my honor and glory and kingdom. My advisers and nobles sought me out, and I was restored as head of my kingdom, with even greater honor than before.’” (Daniel 4:36)
God is in charge of even all secular rulers. No matter how much power that a human king has, God is still in charge. We can trust in Him no matter what the world is doing.
Now you can see how Bible miracles are God’s way of blessing the world. Glory to Him!!!
