Teaching Children About Bible Miracles – God Reveals To Daniel The King’s Dream

Daniel and the King's dream

Teaching children about the Bible miracles is important because it helps them to see how nothing is impossible for God.  If God can do miracles in the Bible, He can do them in our children’s lives today.  Here is an easy way to do that interactively.

Today let’s focus on a Bible miracle from the book of Daniel:   God reveals to Daniel the King’s dream and the interpretation. (Daniel 2)

King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon had a dream and called his wise men to not only interpret the dream, but to reveal to him what the dream was.  His wise men said that no one could do this.  The King got so angry he ordered to have all the wise men killed.

Daniel was one of these men and when he heard the King’s order he asked to meet with the King.

Ask the children…

What did Daniel tell the King about who reveals dreams?

“But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and he has shown King Nebuchadnezzar what will happen in the future. Now I will tell you your dream and the visions you saw as you lay on your bed.” (Daniel 2:28)

How did the King react when Daniel revealed the dream and its interpretation?

“The king said to Daniel, ‘Truly, your God is the greatest of gods, the Lord over kings, a revealer of mysteries, for you have been able to reveal this secret.’” (Daniel 2:47)

Just like He did with Daniel, God is demonstrating His greatness continually by revealing His knowledge of everything that is happening in the world at any moment.  He can reveal that knowledge to anyone He wishes to in order to glorify Himself.

Now you can see how Bible miracles are God’s way of blessing the world.  Glory to Him!!!
