Teaching children about the Bible miracles is important because it helps them to see how nothing is impossible for God. If God can do miracles in the Bible, He can do them in our children’s lives today. Here is an easy way to do that interactively.
Today let’s focus on a Bible miracle from the book of Daniel: God saves Daniel’s 3 friends from the fiery furnace. (Daniel 3)
King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon set up an image of gold and commanded that everyone fall down and worship this image whenever the music played. Daniel’s 3 friends, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego, refused to bow down to anything or anyone but God. The King was furious and threatened that if they did not bow down they would be cast into the fiery furnace.
Ask the children…
How did Daniel’s 3 friends respond to the King?
“’If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty.’” (Daniel 3:17)
After Daniel’s 3 friends were bound up and thrown into the fire, what did Nebuchadnezzar see?
“But suddenly, Nebuchadnezzar jumped up in amazement and exclaimed to his advisers, ‘Didn’t we tie up three men and throw them into the furnace?’ ‘Yes, Your Majesty, we certainly did,’ they replied. ‘Look!’ Nebuchadnezzar shouted. ‘I see four men, unbound, walking around in the fire unharmed! And the fourth looks like a god.’” (Daniel 3:23, 24)
God saved Daniel’s 3 friends from the fiery furnace by coming into the fire and making sure that they not only were saved from the fire but didn’t even smell like smoke. Isn’t it true that nothing is impossible with God?
Now you can see how Bible miracles are God’s way of blessing the world. Glory to Him!!!

Ola! Liz,
Thanks for that, So how do we teach children to write without dominating their work? Learning how to homeschool well means tackling this prickly problem. We are so eager for our kids to succeed, that we can’t keep from sticking our fingers into their pudding, but we do so at great cost–their creative expression and any hope that they might enjoy writing. By following a few basic principles, we can free our kids up to express themselves in writing and maybe learn to enjoy the process. What we need to do is to aim for fluency, not perfection.
Nice One!
Praise be to the King!!!! Jesus is our savior and he is alive. My brothers and sisters, call on the name of The Lord in all things. No matter how small or trivial you think they maybe. It is not a bother to Almighty God. Bless you and I will see you in the Kingdom of Heaven! 🙂
