Teaching children about the Bible miracles is important because it helps them to see how nothing is impossible for God. If God can do miracles in the Bible, He can do them in our children’s lives today. Here is an easy way to do that interactively.
Today let’s focus on a Bible miracle from the book of Exodus: The Miracle of Manna and Quail in the Wilderness (Exodus 16)
God’s people were traveling the desert and they began to complain that they did not have any food to eat so much so that they wished to be back in Egypt where there had been plenty of food to go along with their slavery.
Ask the children…
What did the Lord provide for the people to eat and when?
“Then Moses added, “The LORD will give you meat (Quail) to eat in the evening and bread to satisfy you in the morning, for he has heard all your complaints against him.” (Exodus 16:8)
What were God’s people supposed to learn?
“So Moses and Aaron said to all the people of Israel, ‘By evening you will realize it was the LORD who brought you out of the land of Egypt. In the morning you will see the glory of the LORD, because he has heard your complaints, which are against him, not against us’”. (Exodus 16:6, 7)
What does the Hebrew word ‘Manna’ really mean?
“The Israelites were puzzled when they saw it. ‘What is it?’ they asked each other.” (Exodus 16:15)
You guessed it. Whey the people saw the flaky substance on the ground they wondered, “what is it” which is translated “Manna” in Hebrew.

Now you can see how Bible miracles are God’s way of blessing the world. Glory to Him!!!
