Teaching children about the Bible miracles is important because it helps them to see how nothing is impossible for God. If God can do miracles in the Bible, He can do them in our children’s lives today. Here is an easy way to do that interactively.
Today let’s focus on a Bible miracle from the book of Exodus: Moses And The Burning Bush. (Exodus 3:1-6)
Remind your children that God’s children (The Jews) were now slaves in Egypt. Moses was a Jew but had run far away from His people and his responsibility to lead them.
Ask the children…
Who appeared to Moses from the burning bush?
“There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in a blazing fire from the middle of a bush. Moses stared in amazement. Though the bush was engulfed in flames, it didn’t burn up.”(Exodus 3:2)
Why did Moses turn aside to look at it?
“This is amazing,” Moses said to himself. “Why isn’t that bush burning up? I must go see it.” (Exodus 3:3)
Who spoke to Moses from the midst of the bush?
“When the LORD saw Moses coming to take a closer look, God called to him from the middle of the bush, ‘Moses! Moses!’ ‘Here I am!’ Moses replied.” (Exodus 3:4)
God used this miracle of the bush that didn’t burn up to get Moses’ attention so he would turn aside and listen to God. That’s how much God cared for Moses and His people that Moses was going to lead.
Now you can see how Bible miracles are God’s way of blessing the world. Glory to Him!!!
