Teaching children about the Bible miracles is important because it helps them to see how nothing is impossible for God. If God can do miracles in the Bible, He can do them in our children’s lives today. Here is an easy way to do that interactively.
Today let’s focus on a Bible miracle from the book of Judges: Samson receives water from a dry place (Judges 15:18-20)
God raised up Samson as a Judge to lead the Israelites to defeat their enemy the Philistines. One day after Samson had killed 1,000 Philistines with the jawbone of a donkey, he cried out to God in great thirst.
Ask the children…
What miracle did God do for Samson?
“So God caused water to gush out of a hollow in the ground at Lehi, and Samson was revived as he drank. Then he named that place ‘The Spring of the One Who Cried Out,’ and it is still in Lehi to this day.” (Judges 15:19)
What did God’s miracle strength enable Samson to do?
“Samson judged Israel for twenty years during the period when the Philistines dominated the land.” (Judges 15:20)
God will provide what we need during tough times. Even if God doesn’t take us out of the situation, He gives us the strength to go through it.
Now you can see how Bible miracles are God’s way of blessing the world. Glory to Him!!!
