Easter is over. Or is it? Can’ t we celebrate the resurrection of Christ everyday. Sure not with all the hoopla, but in our hearts. I loved how the pastor on Sunday spoke about the difference between Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
Good Friday accepts that we are in a fallen world with death and sickness while Easter Sunday reminds us that God wants to use all of these fallen things to His glory.
Why not teach our kids by our example that although bad things happen in this world we can celebrate like we do at Easter that God is in the business of transforming the uglies. Let your kids see how you let God transform your attitudes and fears.
Celebrate Easter everyday with a redeemed attitude. The Holy Spirit is here to make that possible. Why not leave one of those plastic eggs open on your table to remind yourself and your family that because Jesus died and rose again we can also rise from our sufferings. It’s not a magical thing but choice to act on God’s promised blessings… “to be made new in the attitude of your minds.” (Ephesians 4:23)
Hope you feel Christ’s blessing in your life.
